David Berins has also served as an arbitrator, expert witness and consultant to counsel in a broad variety of disputes relating to the hotel industry. These have included cases involving hotel management agreements, bankruptcies, condemnations, partnership disputes, valuations, insurance claims, franchising issues, reservations systems, foreclosures, and real estate transactions. Over the past 32 years, David has provided professional services on over 40 matters, and has been qualified as an expert witness in six US Bankruptcy Courts, seven United States District Courts, and in numerous state courts.  He has never been disqualified as an expert.  He has served as an arbitrator on panels under the auspices of the American Arbitration Association (AAA) and the Judicial Arbitration & Mediation Services (JAMS).
